Promised we would tell you. Kirstie gave birth to Layla Rose Balfour Sherriff on Thursday at 16:25 weighing it at 8lb 7oz. Both are happy and content at home on the sofa as we speak...

She managed it all in 5 1/2 hours using only gas and air for the last cm of dilation. She was a star.
